Superman is absolutely a bully! He has the power to just invoke his will on anyone if they don’t listen! So everyone is afraid to actually speak out against him!

That's where you are wrong my black and white friend. A lot of people think this, but they just don't understand Superman as a character. Clearly you have not read a lot of comics, but that's ok, Allow me to education you. The beauty of Superman is his humanity and desire to be always see the best of humanity. Could he just use his power to force the world into compliance? Sure, and that's been explored in a few Elseworld stories and it always ends badly. You see the greatest Superman stories are the ones where he doesn't throw a punch, or at least not many. Just read All-Star Superman, or any of the Mr. Mxyzpltk stories. Hell, watch the original Christopher Reeves movies. To Clark, Kal-El and Superman is his disguise and who he truly wants to be is ace-report Clark Kent, married to Lois Lane. Father to Jonathan Kent. That's what he wants, not totalitarian rule over the world. The reason he doesn't to that is he wants humanity to be the best version of itself it can possibly be without force. Furthermore any story that disrespects his friendship with Jimmy Olsen clearly doesn't understand that Jimmy is Superman's ground to reality. Jimmy doesn't need to be in every Superman story, but he has always and will always be a big part of who Superman grows to be. He is his Metropolis fixture to the human world. If you add him to a story only to depict him completely unfaithfully and just straight up kill him (you know what I'm talking about) I can't take anything you do with the character seriously anymore, cause you've missed the point. And for god sakes, stop trying to hook Superman and Wonder Woman up! Clark loves Lois, and only Lois! Wonder Woman and Batman are a much better couple, just look at the Justice League Cartoon. No disrespect to Steve Trevor, but he's dead and Diana's got needs. Let’s not even talk about the Captain American comparisons.
