The way you look at me
And the way that you are
Fills me up so gradually
And leaves my door open and slightly ajar.
My trust in you is explicit and clear
No need to knock or ask to come in
Heart open and ready, head filled with fear
What if you discover the root of my sin?
Will I be enough to keep your attention?
Or will that fade and I loose you
To my own intrusion of thought in
Not being enough and you can see through
My defenses, my jokes, and myself
And leave to find someone with good mental health?
