I mean think about it guys, they have families like we do. Do you want their grandchilcrend to talk about how they were annihilated in battle? Never stood a chance and were dumb for even trying? Why do they keep going? It’s insane!
SERGEANT BLINKY
Or do we want their grandkids to talk about the valiant effort they put in and how they really had a chance? Well, do you?
PRIVATE DOOKIE
I could shoot him in the back of the head, right now, and no one would have to know.
LT LOPEZ
It’s not work it, man. I’m also not entirely convinced that would end his rands. Nothing really does. So why should death?
PRIVATE DOOKIE
Good point.
LT LOPEZ
Just let him rant. What’s he going to do, have us wear green and fight on their side?
SERGEANT BLINKY
I Know they have resolve in their hearts and are probably good people outside of this war. If we could set aside our differences and just talk, maybe we could all be friends. Maybe we could be besties.
SERGEANT BLINKY
Who knows, maybe some day when this war is over our grandchildren and their grandchildren will fall in love and they can talk about how their grandparents fought in the Great War!
LT. AWESOME-STANCE
Bliny, do you have a plan here or are you just monologuing again to kill time?
SERGEANT BLINKY
Mostly just killing time, but I’ll think of something!
LT. AWESOME-STANCE
Alright, fine. But the boys and I are gonna go get drunk while you finish.
SERGEANT BLINKY
And further more, maybe we are the bad guys here! Have we ever asked ourselves that question? Maybe we are the invaders, the wrong doers! What if we joined forces and started a dance company! That would be magical!
