This page is all in pencil. It was drawn while working as a front desk person at the Bremerton Lanes bowling alley.

This is a true story, I drew this for my then boss to explain why I cashed a bad check.

Norma, I have some bad news.
PANEL 2
JN at a the counter of the bowling alley, a scruffy looking guy is writing a check to cash. POV is behind JN. There is an arrow pointing to JN that says “Me” and one to the other guy that says “The Guy”
CAPTION
A gentleman came in and cashed a check.

POV behind the guy at the cashiers cage in the casino. Guy behind the cage looks angry and is flipping the other guy off.
THE GUY
Cash my check!
GUY IN CAGE
No!
CAPTION
Unbeknownst to me, he tried to cash a check in the casino and was denied, to to him being on the bad check list.

When I cashed his check I glanced at the bad check list and missed his name, but his check cleared the machine.

I also cashed a $50 pull-tab before I was informed of the situation.
