So I saw Batman V Superman twice over the weekend. The first time with my friends and I walked out hating it. I mean I hated it so much. Before I saw it I let myself read too much of what the critics had to say about the movie and not formulate my own opinion. And I have to admit, while not PERFECT, It was very entertaining and I found my self ENJOYING it a little more the second time around..
I really hate listening to critics on anything, or seeing reviews for a movie but a lot of them were not wrong. The trailer showed the whole movie. Nothing in it makes sense, Wonder Woman could have taken out Doomsday so Superman didn't have to die. Noone had any real motivations, and this was like three movies shoved into one. There are A LOT of things I wish they did differently, like I wish everyone wasn’t so fucking dark and gritty in the movie. However, they NAILED Wonder Woman. She was spectacular. And BATFLECK was awesome.
Now please, give me a hopefully upbeat and optimistic Superman in the next one. I beg you.
