You see, I grew up reading Superman as a kid. My dad would buy me all 4 of the main Superman titles each month! Then I talked him into getting me some of the spin offs like Superboy and Supergirl and Steel!

It was in reading these comics, along with Wolverine, that I really started to want to make comics and draw!

What? No! Not at all! I really dislike the thought of them fighting and Batman being all Anti-Superman like Miller makes him out to be.

Besides, in that story Batman and Green Arrow shoot him with a kryptonite arrow after he dealt with a nuclear bomb blast, that's HARDLY a fair fight!

Superman stories are about so much more that smashing stuff Earf. They are about subtle humanism.

True, Kryptonite is deadly to him and if you have Kryptonite you have the advantage over Superman.

But how is that any different than the Joker having a Nuke as an advantage over Batman? Or Scarecrow infecting Batman with his Fear Toxin?

It's just an obstacle fro him to overcome, and he does countless times in countless stories.

I'm so sick of the 'well if he has Kryptonite then Superman loses.' Read a comic, there's a lot more to him than that.
